So, after fussing with this flate black paint idea for far too long...things are not turning out well. No matter how much I sand the thing, stop the wind (close the garage door), and change how I'm painting...It's just not working.

Should I switch to "shiny" paint? Flat black just seems to be a pain to get right.

Or shall I just get excessive and go buy a compressor and spray gun?

he's right, this time of year and the humid weather we are having is NOT a good time to try to paint anything!!

I havn't painted anything since we started on this humid streek. I just keep going out in the garage and looking what I've already done and going "eww..."

keep in mind that 'real' paint, even single stage, and a gun will run you into the hundreds.

I have started repainting with Krylon gloss black rattlecans. It looks sooooo much better.
