Yeah, anyway .. so I was wondering if there was a separate reservoir for the center diff fluid or does it just run off the same fill tube as the front does?

Also, when do you check diff fliud? warm or cold?

Rear has its own, right? What's the best way to check that?

The frt diff is filled through the tube on the passenger side of the tranny, it'll hold a little more than 1 QT of 80w90.

The center diff is lubricated with the tranny fluid, filled throught the tranny dipstick tube on the drivers side of the tranny.

The rear diff holds a little less than a quart.

Now, when you put your MT in, the frt diff and transmission share the same oil. It will hold a little more than 3 quarts.

So these two being separate is only on autos?

Yes. The Auto's take gear oil in the frt diff, ATF in the tranny. Manual's take gear oil, sharing the oil between them.
