eBay quality tends to vary quite a bit on different parts. so my question is, has anyone bought ebay headlights before? if so how was the fit? did they look "cheap"? have they stayed dry?

i'm looking especially at a set of clear corners and clear side markers for an RS. they look decent enough in the pics but god knows you can't always tell. i'm deciding whether or not i should get the whole headlight set as well from the same maker so they match better, or...should i just buy the corners and have M&A do their headlight restoral thing on them. anyone have any experience in this area?

edit: it's phrases like this: "* EURO Crystal Style, Clear Latest Trend Look with Better Night time Beam output/Visibility" that make me feel like it might be a bad idea

 
they really aren't that bad... I have had a few sets in some of my beaters and they Worked and looked fine... didn't even leak

 
i have ebay headlight assemblies my buddy bought for my 02 sentra. they look like they were built good. never got to try them though...they showed up a year after he ordered them and by then i had my wagon

 
Hahaha that's unfortunate. I'm trying to decide if I want to shell out cash for the sti bumper or just buy a used 00+ bumper. that makes a bit of difference in the bumper turn signals.

I know a lot of people that use eBay headlights for projects like projector swaps and such... or to replace lens's for cheap

 
You raise a good point, what projectors do people generally use? I've seen a lot of acura, is this because they're cheaper and more commonplace?

 
TSX or S2000 seem to be the most popular amongst Suby owners that do swaps...

You can get TSX projectors for cheap on eBay, and people are always selling them. S2k projectors will cost you more.
