ecu flash/subaru recall coolant

Just got the letter from Subaru about the ecu reflash, something to do about coolant levels and needing to bring the car in to get it flashed!

So... I got a simple stg1 flash via CobbAP and wasn't sure if I was going to unmaryr the AP or not...

For everyone else who got this letter (I'm assuming all GR models at least), and is using the Cobb AP or is flashed via protune...

1) How are you going to handle it?

2) What dealer do you plan on going to?

Or do you think this is a conspiracy from subaru to sneak a major ecu flash...

I think you'll be good to go. I don't think the Subaru flash will even notice or recognize the AP. It will just do it's thing and not care what the AP thing is doing.

I would unmarry the AP. That way the flash will actually write to the ecu. Then once you get the car back load the AP again. That way if you ever put it back to stock, the update that subaru did will be your stock tune
