Extreme Dimensions Problems?

Just needed to ask if anyone here has ever bought anything from Extreme Dimensions? My younger brother bought fenders, a hood, and a full bodykit from them for his 97 Cavalier (yeah its funny to me too) and it appears that the fitment is HORRIBLE. I have never heard about any problems with them before but it appears they sell junk. And can't seem to manufacture a straight edge on anything. Nice way to get nothing out of about $1000 I guess (sarcasm).

On top of that he has Autism Spectrum disorder so he doesn't deal well with people even though he is 25, so I have been dealing with Extreme Dimensions customer service. They are helpful and seem to be courteous, but I just don't wanna deal with this **** anymore.

Oh and our body man told us it would be about $2000 to install the kit and paint the car with a custom paint job. After seeing the parts, he told us he could make them work, for an additional $1000, but now he is hinting it could be more than that.

Fiberglass body made at a "deal" of a price, is going to be just that....

You have to expect that you will have some fitment issues, or have to do some work to make them look good. You will almost NEVER be able to just paint and install. I have a feeling they are not going to do a dang thing.

Yeah, I knew this. I told him though that he should buy a new car that already looks good. If he was going to go down this road, then he should buy parts from a reputable manufacturer. I had heard good things about Extreme Dimensions and thier parts were not bargain prices, we thought they were fairly expensive as fiberglass parts go. I don't think you can buy cavalier body kits anywhere else other than E-Bay or RK-Sport. I have not seen any complaints against them as a company and they seemed reputable. They advertise in all the major magazines.
