nice! How do you like the FF700's compared to the FF1000's?

It appeared to me as if they are similar in mounting to the old Rallye 1000 lights.

the FF700s are road burners for sure. however they have an annoying light scatter from edges of the lens that's kind of a pain in the rain. The FF1000s do it too, but to a lesser extent. Think I'm going to fight it by painting edges of the lenses black.

Nig,

we treated Rad's lens edge with electrical tape. 3M super 33+ will stay flexible and sticky in the winter. oh and you can seal the lens to the housing so water doesn't build up and crack the lens like the old 500's.

Heres the only one I have with more lights. I do have 4 hella 500s that need to be mounted up though. AND i might be getting a new home made light bar(details to come

Yeah, Nigel, it works outside almost as well as it works for CELs.

I pretty much have to replace the tape around my Hellas once a year, but it's pretty cheap. As Pedro says, only use the Super 33+. Cheap vinyl tape=no sticky when wet and/or cold.

rockin eyeballs so far, lots more out there, let's seee dem

Imp05 gots the Angry Nemo look goin (meant in good way ok)

sushi = headlight mania, maybe I'm just weird but odd numbered light setups just look a little, well....weird.

If I were to get something nice and bright for my car ... what would you guys suggest?

Hella compact 4000's.
thanks for the suggestion. I looked that up online, and it looks like a very decent light. Reasonably priced, good output and good reviews.
