Ok, this goes on the record as the absolute shittiest use of a AAA service ever...

Some kids @ the conveniance store, 2 in the morning, both down on their luck, got their mother's car stuck in the dirt down a road off of the kilik pond road (where the poland springs factory is.)

So, being the "Upstanding citizen" that I am, I drive them both back down there, and call AAA...

25minutes go by before they even FIND a friggin' guy to come... from Marginal Way in portland... 45+ minute drive away...

Some dude from SOS towing..

So he gets all the way here to decide he doesn't like the dirt road the car is on, and thus, WONT tow the car out under AAA policy...

BUT he would pull it out as a cash call... (i.e. he wanted $200... )

Ok, he was obviously capable of it, why the hell are ppl assholes..

I know making a buck is always good, but if you're capable of it, don't make the person wait for 2 hours, and then try charging them $200 they don't have...

Oh well... makes me happier that I have all wheel drive..

Call AAA and lodge a complaint - seriously.

Not that I'm a fan of AAA, but the driver of that truck is a scum bag and AAA should know about the BS that he pulled.

It's true... AAA contracted with the dude to tow people... you should call AAA and go apeshit.

The only reason I have AAA is to get hotel discounts.

i know that guy... and yeah.. he's a douch bag... but... that's the way AAA works, if it's not on a public road and so on and so forth, they have a big thing of rules, but the guy got paid for his drive regardless. but yea... im mean your already there.... just friggen do it.

Right? If you're there, and drove 45min to be there.. just do it, stop being a greedy piece of S, and do it, the two kids I were helping were like "Just got my liscence" young, and obviously don't have the $200 he made up as a fee on the spot, y'know?
