Well, it seems my old exhaust thread got swallowed into the sea by the old forum, so here is another pic of my latest exhaust system for the forester. Most of the pipe is 2.5" stainless bends that I robbed from a DC Sports catback that I cut up, then cleaned them up with a file, slice and weld... and then

and a random pic of my driveway. left to right: brother's wrx, wife's forester, my forester and the brat

Did your brother just come up the other day? I saw that OD green WRX on Rt111 on my way out of town.

I see that wrx all the time in the bullmoose plaza in scarb where I work!

Also I definitely did not read the thread title as "fab" the first time I saw it

pedro, he comes up on the weekends, and he also works in sopo, so he is around occasionally. his car used to be crazy loud, but I built another system for that too, now it's a little less obnoxious lol..

Looks sweet, but how does it sound?

And does the second tip come from the other side of the muffler, or just from the pre-muffler pipe back there?

These are much easier to see than the ones on the phone!! Looks pretty sweet. I look forward to seeing and hearing it in person

thanks guys! both tips are from outlets. this muffler was for a hummer h3 and never got used. it is a single in dual out 2.5" dynomax ultraflow. sounds pretty good, it's a little loud, and the sound gets a bit out of control under boost, as the innards of this muffler are quite complicated and not exactly free flowing. But, it's different, and I like it for now.... lol

and I need to work on the tips some more as they come out at different angles and it was hard to cut them flush before welding. but I plan on taking the axle back off and reworking it, not sure if that will happen before the drive though. hopefully... so no one has to stare at my crooked tips hahahaha
