I knew a guy that had a leggy turbo wagon and he threw a FP Green turbo with an STI topmount and was making some damn nice numbers. Of course he was running meth also so that helped keep temps down.

That being said you really don't need the FMIC not unless you plan on bumping up the turbo size and all. Just told you about that guy so you would get an idea of how far you can go with a stock top mount.

If you do go to the fmic get it tuned and expect your dyno graph to shift about 200-300rpm to the right for your boost response.
