so i've pretty much been layed up since friday night. barely got out of bed yesterday, up all night last night and to top it off i can't go to union. >

it pretty much feels like i swallowed a handful of nails. it's pretty bitchen :

Mike just take a good dump and puke chased with a shot of Jack Daniels and you'll be fine. That sucks man. Where did you eat? or What did ya eat?

 
well i just talked to the Dr and it might be worse then that. best case viral infection, worse appendix

so yeah i really wanted to go to the hospital today instead of union :

you sure it's your stomach and not a kidney stone? are you peeing blood? gall stone perhaps?

if it's a constant pain, it's most likely not an appendix. and you'd be dead right now if it were... ruptured appendix is bad joo joo... my wife nearly died when she was 14 because of one. (a priest even gave her Last Rights... that's how bad)

i think its just a stomach flu or something, no blood. just massive amounts of stomach pain haha

 
He ought to start a thread trying to decide what kind of doctor to see. Gastrointestinal or general practioner

called them at home sunday, and my aunt who's a nurse last night and a nurse at my dads work today. pretty much..... im cookieed. they can't really do anything. i just have to sit here and take it. try and stay hydrated and just wait for it to clear up. what a world of modern medicine we live in huh? hmm your in excruciating pain? nope you just have to wait it out. but if your a 70 year old man we can give you a hard on.... :

i had appendicitis when i was 13 and i endured it for an entire week, it was hands down the most intense pain i have ever felt. by the time i finally went to the hospital they said i should be dead. if it feels like a super sharp pain in your gut and you can keep anyting down and you got the hershy squirts for more than a couple days you should consult a mortician

 
gastroenteritis, food poisoning will cause it, painfull as all hell, and there isn't a thing they can do about it

thanks joel. i'll remember to cough on you this weekend, and see if you can catch this too!!!

so it finnally cleared up last night, enough that i can actully drink and eat a little bit. and my will to live is returning. i should be better by tomarrow i hope. thanks for the concern and giveing me something to do while i couldn't get out of bed this weekend!!

I figured it wasn't your appendix either. You would have had to go to the doctor and had something done. I know from experience also. Had an appendectomy in 2003. Sucked. But it's nice knowing it won't happen again!!

mine was removed in 2004

took Al in for day SX that morning, ended up in the ER that night to get it removed, >

the OR staff actually found it amusing, they all recognized me from the morning being with Al!!!!
