well i was looking around in a local salvage yard and cam across what looked to be a legacy turbo, and sure enough when i brushed off the snow it was! everything is there and in good shape (besides the body)...now my question is will that turbo system be at all compatible with my 98 2.5rs? and if so, how much work/time am I looking at?

 
Compatible ... to an extent. If you're talking about turboing your 2.5 NA motor, don't bother. 4 lbs of boost isn't worth it, IMO, unless of course you plan to build the motor ... in which case that turbo is only good for about 7ish lbs with no intercooler. Swapping in a normal WRX or STI turbo isn't that easy either. You'd be better off swapping it into an older legacy with a better shell and working with that. I did the entire swap ... was it worth it? Um, I'm still undecided

Those motors are bullet proof though, so you should at least pull it, if not nuy the whole car!!

 
If nothing, grab the rims off it! Those are 15" rims and make great rally rims (very strong). Won't fit a WRX, but any 2.5RS or GC platform will take them.

 
Yeah, you can probably get some good money for the block and the wheels are definitely nice sturdy wheels. The swap isn't impossible, but it's time consuming and not really worth it unless you're planning to build the motor first. The wiring is a pain, the actual motor ALMOST bolts right in.

SS came with a 5speed or 4spdauto, all TW came with an auto

also the 91 is the only year that came with LSD front and rear, all others came rear and center

what i need is both fenders, corner markers, and grill. i have a new headlight, but i am doing a facelift since 91 SS parts are so hard to find

also SS only came in 91-94 and i think the TW was 93-94 (dont hold me to that)

and yes i am in farmington
