Front Lower Control Arms on the 08-09 wrx's

I have been trying to find into on the subject but it hasn't been successful. Nor can I find one to crawl under. So my question about the front lower control arms, are they stamped metal or cast???? On my 08 2.5i it is stamped and I was really hoping it wasn't for the wrx's so I could upgrade it eventually along with the other goodies I have waiting to put on.

 
I just looked at mine, its stamped by the looks, but is a very high quality stamped part compared to the stamped control arms on the GM vehicles I have. You have to look at it for a minute to be sure it is stamped, the cut outs for weight savings give it away though. Just out of curiousity, why would you need a forged one? Are you looking to save about 5 lbs? Are you building a track machine with no interior except the essentials? Do you think you will drive your car so hard that you will break a stamped, welded, hollow part? Unless yours has rusted out already, I don't understand your concern. I can tell you, the steel takes everything that you can throw at it, up to and including 65mph at angle in a short 90 degree turn on dry pavement.

oo nice too bad they wouldn't fit. that's the difficulty I am having right now, after 2007 there is nothing I can find. Even after 4 years no one wants to make suspension parts for the 08-09. I was hoping IPD/ rallitek would have something but no. Oh yes they make them for 15 year old volvos but no subarus. Even KYB doesn't want to make me some cheep adjustable shocks!!!!! lol
