Want to let you all know- Twitchells airport now has 93 Octane onhand and if that's not good enough news, its Ethenol free! They're located off Route#4 in Auburn.

If you've never used their pumps- ask them to show you how its done first! Price today was 3.25/gal

NICE! not far from me. not a huge jump per gallon.

how did you figure this out? and they sell to the public?

also.... cash only? or debit/credit card taken?

Hey guys- I gave Joel the heads up at the grid iron, thought he'd get the word out. One of my motorhead buds gave me the heads up as he was getting some 100 low lead. He knew I was running into probs and wanted 93. It is not an error, it is straight 93. I don't know how or where they're getting it but they're splitting a tank at a time with someone else. They intend on keeping it if people buy! They had about 4,000 gallons left today (so I was told). They just got in this week, it took a few weeks for delivery, that's all i know.

Twitchells Airport, rt#4 Auburn- call em if you don't beleive it 225-3490 they run bankers hours, and I can't stress enough, if you've never pumped there before, have them show you BEFORE you pump, trust me!

Be nice if some could verify availabity of said 93 octane gas.ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE SUPPLYS LONG ENOUGH TO JUSTIFY REFLASHING BACK TO A 93 MAP??

all i want is to be able to create a 93 map, so if I ever go out of state I can have some fun.

any word on when 93 will be making a comback here? or are we stuck with 91 octane corn oil for good....?

ive been told the knock resistance is much better with 91 w/ethanol then that of 93 w/out.

I just passed that question along to Eric Minehart of Torqued Performance- Not so, he says the only benefit from ethanol is that it burns slightly cooler, but the higher the octane the better the knock resistance and the 93 would be good to go!

you kiddin' me? You will never see 93 at your local gas station again. Ever. It's all down hill from here.

Anyway, I'm definitely gonna have to check this place out. I miss those 93 days...

Edit- What is the exact address to this place? Every time I search it it says it's located in Turner?

not so. 93 still resists better. i went through this when i was tuning my mk5 gti and they stole 93 from us

made a 93 tune for the gti, they stole the good stuff, then i had to retune and lower pretty much everything across the board

for being the second farthest state from California, we certainly want to be a lot like it....
