FXT Head light mod

So I finally got some free time yesterday to do the headlights in my forester! I took the amber lenses out of the corners of the head lights and painted the corners black.

Looks great! Will you have any issues getting your car inspected because of this? I'd love to black mine out.

Thanks! I asked one of the techs at the dealership I work at and he said it will still pass inspection.

I'm pretty sure you have to have the reflector. Blacking it out is fine though

Maine is kinda picky with their lighting laws but it varies. I've heard in most cases you should keep the reflector but in some, they had no issue. I guess it's inspector discretion coming into play.

Looks great! I had no issues getting mine inspected and mine are fairly similar, you may just have to try a few places before someone lets it slide.
