FXT now with less sway!

I installed some goodies this morning on the forester! 04 sti rear sway bar, bushings and mounts. What a difference. I bought all new oem parts from our friends at evergreen and it all bolted right in. The price was right and the body roll has lessened quite a bit. The sti mounts are lower and stronger than the stock parts wich brought the enlinks back to straight up and down. They were skewed slightly after installing the swift springs. Driving impressions are good, tail follows the front through turns better and I don't need to trail brake or lift off quite as much to get it to rotate. Yay!

Still need to install those aluminum endlinks though, the long bolt at the hub worries me. That won't come out easy. Love my forester. Can't wait to get some more miles with the new setup.

I can't wait to do mine. I have the bar but I didn't want to use the fsxt mounts. How for the sti mounts if you don't mine me asking. The swifts did help but man this thing is still a boat. Did it really help as much as you say?

The brackets were $9 each, the bushings $5 each, the bushing clamps $3 each. You'll need the nut to hold the clamp on as well. I forgot it but luckily had some in my metric fastener bin.

Handling is better, less body roll for sure. More predictable and consistent in my opinion. Great cheap mod. Worth it.
