not exactly a super star, but I remember him from when I was a kid. One of the first drive-in movie lots I went to was with my dad, in his rig, we had to park in the back. I thought the "little black kid" was hilarious (I was small too)..that was in early 80s.

I suppose fans keep him going, he does not have good odds given recent past ills. The history of the professional life is disturbing. Hope he pulls through...

if some remember older television, folks against odds were the ones thrown in the spotlight.. gleason was an orphan, sinatra, the little italian runt with a pretentious big voice.. dean martin the drunk.. or rather feminine like johnny carson...

those days are gone.

The little black kid known as gary coleman is also part of the underdogs stepping up. Just a thought for the younger crowd..there are not many glorified underdogs left.

Ever see those stickers, in memory of somebody on a car/truck? maine has a lot of them.

I may have a small one made for my little brown sube...

seem far fetched? or insulting?

Analogizing a car to a human life could be insulting I guess.

Rest in peace.

oh, the movie I referred to in previous post was called "on the right track" 1982. I was at a drive in with a 1981 freightliner, with my dad, I was 7, in florida. the big cast iron speaker was barely wired long enough to hang the audio in the window. First movie that I can remember ever seeing.
