Got pulled over

Got pulled over in Lewiston tonight, all because of some punk kid in a Honda. I was sitting at a light, seen a cop a cross from me. Punk kid pulls up next to me, revs his engine, dumps clutch and smokes his tires. Then cop turns around and pulls me over for it. I try to tell him it was the other car. Then he gave me crap about my exhaust, then he let me go with a warning. I know pull over the flashy blue car with the big wing. >

that sucks man.

At least you didn't get a ticket. I got nabbed for speeding when passing a guy (he sped up to block me).

 
Whoa, that was close. I don't know if that'd pass the sound test. I don't mind getting pulled over...if they let me go...

 
heh, got pulled over today too

in me new/old Miata, en route home from DMV getting my legal plates

officer: "why don't you have a front plate?"

me: "I just got the plates 15 minutes ago at DMV and didn't have enough screws" (which was true)

after a lecture about why front plates are important, and a written warning, off i went.

I think it was convertible envy.

basically i was lucky not to get busted enroute to DMV -- I was running PO's plates, kinda highly ill eagle! :-X

 
Got pulled over a couple years back for having a Jurassic Park plate on the front of the Jeep. Told the officer I liked this one better. Heh.

OK, so it never occurred to said officer to ask how you got the car there in the first place. hmmmm someone was VERY lucky!

 
so i have been pulled over like 100 times or so with 27 tickets. only one for a plate. it must be visable cause in there mind whos to say if you gave it to someone else to put on the back of their car. stupid maine. that's why i ride the motorbike when i can.

 
But you can have a bag over your head and nobody will care.

You could bring him into the station and let the biggest guard there give him a cavity search.

But, he'd probably like it.

 
a couple sundays back i got pulled over twice withen an hour span. the first time was while delivering pizza's, i drove by a hiding cop three times and the last time he decided my exhaust was too loud. He was really cool about it when i explained why the car had no sticker and i promised to make it quieter and legal. After work on 295 i was last in line of a convoy going around 80, i got nabbed going 79 and somehow managed to talk my way out of the inspection fine. my car is still not inspected and still way too loud, i am pushing my luck.
