Been doing firewood and am realizing I touch these damm tree's about 5 times to actually get wood to burn...
After cutting down the tree, sawing it into bite size pieces the splitting starts... pick up the bigguns, split it into several smaller ones, restack it to dry, then move it indoors for the winter and lastly get the damm things into the wood stoves...
I am assuming a decent tree will give me a ton or so of firewood (just an estimate) I have to move that ton 5 times to get it ready to burn....
Still cheaper than fossil fuel but there has to B an easier way...
dumb firewood gets more attention than my wife does..
gargh... anyone wanna loose some weight and build a little muscle mass in my yard? free pool usage and BBQ..
