Have you ever raced a truck?

I have raced a cummins turbo diesal. Had a chip and exhaust plus some other small stuff.

I destroyed it off the line but in the upper range it was getting on me.

The turob diesals are no joke

 
That truck has 767hp and 1000lbs of torque and if you skip to the end it looks completely stop it even sounds stock. Its not a diesel but it is twin turbo with some crazy crate motor. He even keeps up with that 600rr.

diesels can be a surprise. I can say a 550 cat bobtailing is faster than an oem 90hp sube...and the old sube isn't even slow. Of course skipping every other gear of an 18 speed has quite a luanch to look at.

 
I have a project truck 6 years in the making... Should be pretty nasty. Gas, not diesel. Maybe I'll get some pics posted;)
