Hey guys, I am from Allstate, and I am giving free insurance quotes to Mainely Subarus members. I talked to Carter and I am happy to offer this to all of you. If you have any questions, please call or PM me. Our number is 877-372-2849. Call its best to call me for your free quote, wether its home or auto, or both.

I look forward to working with you fellow Subie owners!

Insurance companies should compensate us with more incentives than just a free quote, for even considering giving up the time to provide the necessary information required to get said quote. If the new rate is far better than the old one, that would suffice. However, if the prospective new agent cannot get you a lower rate than the company you are currently covered through they should at least vow to never send another mailer to you luring you to make that waste of a call again.

I have a great rate that has only 'progressively' gone down (even after the sti was totalled), have checked with 4 other providers- that lizard one, the stuttering tow truck people, the one this thread is about and one that wanted to take their liberties with my money. The range was almost a grand to a staggering 4000 dollars more per year for the same coverage. Spend more of my time to spend more of my money?!? No thanks.

it makes you wonder why they can attempt to charge you such a drastic diff. rate even though its exactly the same coverage....i was with progressive since day 1...several diff cars, a few tickets, my home owners and such...got a quote from geico just to see and they were like 300 cheaper a year...i asked progressive if they price match and wouldnt do it...so after all those years i dropped them for the same coverage for cheaper....

I know it really is crazy. Do for one but not for another, its totally helter skelter. Cold calls and mailers are annoying, especially since they are of no benefit to me. A waste. Another thing is, insurance is mandated by law so a free quote is almost an irony in itself. I can just see the schemers now, "we will tell them for free what they are gonna have to pay, hehehe, good thing its a law these sheep have to buy our products in order to enjoy their lives hehehe..."
