they can probably make cameras for that. they have ones that see through a fiber optic end that's very small, and all you would need to do it drill into the combustion chamber and plumb that in, then shield it from heat and pressure for long enough to make the video (with pyrex?) the shaking could be the camera film too, high speed cameras tend to have problems controlling film at that speed, and its more noticable when slowed down.
i dont know why they dont show the full 4 stroke cycle, but it lists the degrees of rotation in the corner. maybe they just edited out the boring stuff and left in the burn cycle.
either way its a cool video. anyone notice how poorly it burns? the flame is supposed to start at the plug and move out to the edge, that one starts at the valve (either blowby or hot spots from sharp edges).
