Hollow wobbling sound?

Basically, this hollow wobbling sound becomes louder when I turn left or right, and also with increasing speeds. It's not a grinding/scratching sound, it really sounds like an echo/hollow/wobble sound.

Wheel bearing possibly? Tires are basically brand new.

Hellllppp!

did i read once your running wheels with wheel adapters? everything tight that need to be tight down there? might be something working its way loose.

Yeah, but there not really adapters, just hub spacers.

I've been running these wheels forever now, and this problem has just come on lately

is the noise lounder as you go faster, or does it change in relation to speed whump whump whum going slow then whumpwhumpwhump

bad wheel bearings often make a whumpwhumpwhump noise, and will change as you load suspension differently, like turning left or right

cupped tires make a very similar noise, but are less affected by loading susp back and forth

Yes, exactly that. As speed increases, the "whump" sounds come closer and closer together.

Looks like I'll be checking in at Evergreen soon

win some lose some...

how about a broken belt in a tire
If it sounds like a helicopter it is probably a broken tire belt. Several years ago I put on expensive ( for an outback ) 225x60/16 Goodyear triple assurance 80,000 mile tires. They became soo loud at 35K I had to junk them

hard tires? t rated and above? maine hates them. I love them. I live with the wobble hollows. this noise permeates alloys more than steel. You may check your new tread vefore and after and nothing is wrong.

you build a race setup, there is noises.
