How bad do you want to gain power with your n/a ej?

Found this on another forum. us n/a guys know how tough it is to gain any ponies with our 2.5i's. For those of you who dont, this should put it in perspective.

I congratulate the guy though. That car has definitely become a HUGE investment money/time wise. That sort of commitment to a slow car just shows you how crazy us subafools are

Dollar/performance ratio still sucks and isn't worth it. Just like I say in every "hey guys I want more power out of my 2.5NA" thread.

 
I've pondered cams, but I think I've don everything within reason to gain power without sacrificing reliabilty or drivability on my car

 
I tried this avenue with my Mazda3. It really isn't worth the money. Fun? Sure. But not worth it. My next vehicle will be turbocharged from the factory. That way I get my fun and reliability all in one package. For now, I am happy with my 2.5i. If anything, suspension mods will be the way I go. That way I can at least plant more power to the road.

 
I cant really complain. Its a good motor, I havnt had any problems with mine over the 25k ive put on it.

But yes, my next car will definitely he turbo from the factory 0:)

 
pretty much kills my hope of ever making mine go like mad... oh well... BRZ in probly 5 years... we shall see how that goes
