how does this look?

Yesh $450 for a ebay exhaust seems like a lot, maybe a nice used one off nasioc like nate said.

I had tsudo exhaust on my sti... it was ok never failed just not the best fit. I paid like 300 tbe dont waste your money on a cheap uppipe fit is VERY important with that part. Get an oem sti one or a good aftermarket one. If that gasket fails you have no power. LISTEN TO STI NATE HE HAS HAD EVERYTHING

Yeah i think im going to go with invidia products N1 turbo back with a V2 downpipe and There catless up-pipe
YES FOR INVIDIA

I had a el-cheapo ebay header and uppipe. It looked good, but the gaskets kept blowing out. After 3 months the flex coupling welds let go and broke off. i am now running a PNPed stock manifold with STi up. I have the cheap ebay downpipe and exhaust. Didn't fit well, sounded ok. The downpipe to mid didn't line up and the flanges were different sizes. After some "massaging" and modifying it fits well and sounds good. I'd say if you have the means to make it fit if doesn't, go for it. If not buy a quality piece.

ebay up-pipes sketch my out. i'd say the turboback is probably good, the welds look good, and fitment doesn't look horrible.

Alright thanks for the info guys... I'm going to go with the invidia set-up.. I'm new to the whole car thing always owned/worked on trucks. But got bit by the Subaru bug when my cousin bought one.

theres a kid around here that aparently has a megan tbe for sale its used for 250 - these are the only pictures i've seen of it

look into ERZ up+down combo. you ca ask Ryan314 how he likes it. it was on the cheaper side as well, but better build quality

Iv never herd of ERZ products.. iv listened to some videos on youtube with the catback and it didn't sound that bad at all.. If its pretty good quality that might be what i go with for right now..

Edit- Been reading up on ERZ and sounds like there a awesome bang for the buck.. except for some fitment issues with the DP.. So just wondering will any DP work with the set up?

+1 on buying a used name brand. I basically paid ~400 for an STi up pipe, HKS downpipe (flat flange boo), and a maddad cat back betwen here and nasioc, and I couldn't be happier with the fit, price, condition, and performance (well, maybe not the dp, but i can change that later...I've got no cats instead of 3 now, that's whats important), I was looking at the ERZ dp as well, but just like every other no-name brand, it's going to be hit or miss.

Trust me stick with name brand. Ive never heard of erz personally but if someone here vouches for them then im sure its fine. Make sure you get a downpipe with a belmouth that's very important. The most important thing on the uppipe is it has a flex section. I would highly recommend a stock sti or a ported grimmspeed. I would not get an invidia up pipe but everything else they sell is gold for the price.

If your going to get a ebay exhaust you should be paying no more then 250 for everything.

O yea and DONT PUT THIS ON WITHOUT A TUNE!

Looking at the pics from Rallyimp, why would you want a DP that has a flat flange? That is the same as stock and flows like crap. Yes, you have removed the cat but it certianly doesn't seem like a good idea.

OP, that ebay exhaust looks like one I picked up for $200. The fitment and sound was good but I changed to something else because I want something that will go thru inspection. Without cat's you will have to swap back to stock every year. Pain in the butt but it is possible. O, I didn't install the uppipe either, I gutted mine the first weekend I had it.
