I got a blow out too....

Shorty

Evergreen Auto Spa
In the parking lot between TGI Friday and Bugaboo creek on Saturday night. WHAM! The wierd thing is I took the kids to Boston, no problems. Friday night I knew I was going to go and something inside was saying

"check your spare..."

so I did. 40psi instead of 65. I brought it in and pumped it up. Good freakin' thing. I've never gotten a blow out before. Hell, in my Toyota Taco I never even had a spare in the 6 years I owned it. Weird

Did you hit something? Was it instantaneous or gradual? Major SUX0RS man, sorry to hear.

Good thing you checked your spare. You never know if/when it'll happen but you've gotta be prepared!

POW! Instant. I got to finish the corner.

I laughed at a guy in Boston for driving a BMW 750 with a mini spare about tow hours earlier. I guess karma got me. coulda been a lot worse though, what with having the kids and all. They though it was fun.

Joel was it one of the new Falken 512s? did you hit something. I don't want to be doing 100mph and have one of my 512s blow out on me.

6" deep pothole filled with water and a nice square edge. I stuck a stick in it after I came outa TGIF. It jerked the wheel right out of my hand.

The tires are like a week old >

There is a $9.00 mini compressor at walmart, made by campbell hausfield that will fit in the "secret" spot in the wagons or in the side compartment in the sedans. It is great, sice not all of us have those moments to check our spares.

<insert short joke here>

Aaahhh for some reason I thought you were kicking around the idea of the Evo gray... Maybe that was just me.

he only has to replace one tire but he might have to also replace one ROTA TARMAC I also >

I'm glad I went to get a sticker with my 17"s on because they found a nice big bubble on the inside of one of my rear tires.Could've gotten a flat quite easily!

I think we should all learn a lesson from this. Don't ever check your spare or take it out completely. That way you'll never have a problem!

Perfect. No shimmy at all. This thing is going the best it ever has. Time for paint. I'm making the call begging for it tonight!
