...by a lousy town car w/ like, 15 kids in it and 13x12 pep-girls rims. :'( (looked like a skateboard!) I didn't even know we were racing. He was in the "left turn only" lane and I was in the "straight/right turn" lane. Light turns green. He smolders his skateboard wheels and went right by me before I could even get on the gas. He's lucky I wasn't paying attention, I would have run his turd-bomb-lincoln right off the road! ;D

 
Duuude, that sucks. I had the same thing happen to me only by a 1st gen Outback wagon, of all things.

That does suck.

That happened to me by a accord. I had been playing around on the highway in heidi's RS, with her in the car. We got off the highway and she told me to stop messing around so i did. I couple of stop lights later i'm next to a newer accord. I didn't think anything of it until after the light turned green and he took off. By then i had already shifted to 2nd (early) and had no go.

Oh well, i guess hondas/lincolns/etc have to get bragging rights somehow even they have to steel it.

You miss one shift while racing your wife and then you have to hear about it forever! Gosh!!!

I was pretty excited to find i could keep up with you (heidi) after i did a tune up, lowered the car, and put on lighter rims with sticky tires. Yup you got me i need to upgrade my driver software. But a short shifter would help...
