so I totally forgot that my Cobb CBE uses a donut style flange so it bolts up to the stock downpipe... well I just purchased a DP that has a standard 3" flat flange... supposed to install this on Sunday but now I'm in a bind. What I really need is one of these.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130267989752&viewitem=&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching

do you think I could get something like that locally? Probably not... what should I do now???

Well I have the flat flange gasket... the problem is that the DP is not going to properly mate up to my Cobb CBE since the DP uses a flat flange and the Cobb CBE uses a donut...

napa, carquest. just call em and see, you'd be surprised and the random stuff they carry.

not at all sure as a side note, just worth trying

Are the bolt patterns the same? If there is a flat surface of any kind on the catback I'm sure you could just get away with bolting and using some (possibly a lot) high temp sealer. Just use regular bolts not the sping bolts in order to help keep them from vibrating apart.

I've heard of people doing that, but the seal breaks down over time.

I ordered that adapter anyway... pissed that I gotta wait now though.

Nono, were still gonna do the uppipe

-edit- unless you think I should wait to do it all at once? hmm..
