if thier goal is what is on the link above, why not find a chassis that was extremely engineered for mass production (the testing testing and more testing, crash zones, suspensions etc etc , electrical, type of steels on and on and on) gather its overhead of a 1million car run, and make it better. Kids just standing up with a fresh drawing board is imagination too much.

I couldn't help but ponder the sub 3000 pound sube I weld the heck out of..into all the changes realistically as a production, as just one example.

They also mentioned internal combustion and efficient..if it is not a 3 main boxer, I am not falling for it. don't even put the word "best" in thier design description.

You know...Subarus were not crafted by Zeus, at the peak of Mount Olympus, and then granted down upon the world as a gift to men from the gods...

Second, this is a new company, trying to put out a new and radical design, something that is only ever seen in a car show from any of the big manufacturers, and then watered down and made boring when it finally makes it into production.

They're trying to put out cars that are original and unique (and also capable of running off of alternative fuels such as veggie oil), for only 50g's. I haven't seen a whole lot of free thinking from any other car manufacturers lately.

It is specifically targeted towards Baja prerunner money bag kids.
