Should be a smash as the original in my opinion is one of the best car flix ever. Still can't believe he let Suki go that easy. Oh well, guess he had to sacrifice for the team.

 
I thought the movie sucked personally...I mean it was a decent movie but I honestly will say that the anime version was much better. It's the only anime series I've ever watched, but a buddy told me it was good so I gave it a shot. It's worth watching if you have Netflix, honestly much better than that stupid movie.

 
I found the anime way better.... Though who knows how long until they start making tv episodes again.

Well the manga was... but yes the anime was wwwaaayyy before the real life movie. I think the movie came out in 2005 which covered the story line that was first aired in 1998.
