iPhone dyno apps

For you iPhone users, there's a couple of apps that calculate your 0-60 and quarter mile times, and if you put in the weight of your car, they do a calculation of your HP. The ones I have heard of are Dynolicious and Light 'Em 'Up. One of them is sponsored by Bosch so it's cheap to buy. The app lets you post your times on Facebook.

Let's all do some runs and see what we come up with. Maybe make a Sticky thread?

haved used Dynolicious, it's kind of fun for a while but not entirely accurate.

Well, my car has 135hp crank (before it had 320k miles). and a autotragic. So hmm, maybe 95hp at the wheels....

mine is faster than a riced out civic, and has enough nut to tow a 2k lbs of wood on a tailer, so I'm saying hp is sufficient, and that's all that matters

Iphones do not make you a yuppie! Im down for this. I have an acess port too but the iphone will prob be easier. Maybe I will compare the two and test the accuracy of the iphone apps.

I have the pocket dyno app on my phone. Haven't used it yet.

Indeed, it sprung a leak, a VERY big leak, and left an oil trail right to the side of the road.
