Petty, my peep from PGH who never visits us here on STM anymore, was out making his delivery rounds and came upon a lil' Porsche Carerra GT parked in front of a hotel in Cranberry, PA:

They had one up at Falmouth VW/Porsche for a bit last year. Had it roped off, but you could get pretty close. I was most impressed by the suspension set-up. Some crazy geometry...in-board, almost horizontal coilovers in the rear

my only carrera gt story:

my good friend kenny (owns the vw jti show car i've posted here before) was at h2o fest down south last summer and there was a GT just pulling in to the show to be used as an exhibition vehicle. as the guy backed into the spot everyone crowded around and told him to do a burnout (genius), so he bounces it off the rev limiter for a second and drops the clutch.

boom.

tranny grenades and buries parts into the pavement. they had to push it back onto the trailer.
