just cuz the check engine light is on doesn't mean you need to swap.

Whatchaswappin? Slam dunk a 2.5 in that?

those kind of mileage milestone pics are fun...usually

I used to have a 1980 saab turbo. when it turned 100k, we stopped at the side of a pretty busy road to snap the odo photo. taking off, I had to um, boot it so as not to "impede" traffic. turns out there was a cop in a parking lot nearby, and guess what...bingo, I win a $125 prize for going 62 in a 40. :

Fark!

expensive photo, and I probly couldn't find it now if my life depended on it.

I used to have a pic of the 4Runner's Odo at 123,456 miles. it was funny.. can't find it now.

i wished i took a pics of the 97 escort wagon one that came into work last year it had 700,000+ miles on it

yeah sold it at 9 years old with 132K, in that time I replaced: set of front/rear brake pads, two sets of tires, 1 water pump, 1 timing belt, 1 timing belt tentioner, 1 surp belt, 1 A/C condesor, 1 A/C expantion valve, 1 A/C reciever/dryer, 1 set of spark plugs, 1 set of plug wires, 1 rotor, 1 cap, 1 air filter, 1 battery, 1 shift linkage bracket & a few bushings and changed the brake, trans fluid and coolant once. Oil was changed every 7,500-10,000mi. When I sold it the clutch felt a little weak ;D by FAR the most reliable and cheep to maintain car I've owned to date. (I think I'd still have it now if i could have brought it with me when i moved)

Patric on NESIC/NASIOC had pic of his leg GT doing 100mph at 100,000, that was sorta cool.

anyways. swap away. keep us posted. 8)
