Hey guys, Ive got some H&R lowerings springs I want to install on my 99 RS and I was looking for someone to help me with em! I have no tools and I'm no mechanic. I can compensate you for your time if you help me out! thanks in advance.

You'll need a spring compressor I believe or a shop to do it for you. 17mm 14mm sockets/ wrench. Hammer , Patience

I know Lobstah used to have a spring compressor. Maybe someone on here is holding on to it while he's living in Arizona?

FYI: Any Napa, Autobone etc. will do a free "loan" of most tools. You just have to place a deposit on it.

bought new tires today. My suspension is so cookieed up they couldn't even legitimately align it close to okay. Time for coilovers...

That sucks man. Try rs25 and nassuck maybe they have a strut spring combo for cheap? KYB's with sti pink springs is a common one. There's always Norms Wiscassett too, they might have some AGX's.

Rick called you today, bought headlights that need to be installed, they come in tomorrow. yea ive been searching and searching, we'll find out what I can get for somewhat cheap...

Look for coilovers for around ~500 ish on NASIOC or rs25. I love my Tein HA coilovers.

I have used these http://www.irwin.com/tools/clamps/sl300-one-handed-bar-clamps-spreaders to compress the springs for my RS and WRX. I would think with lowering springs being shorter than stock, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I don't know how desperate you are for suspension, but www.racelandus.com has some really cheap coilovers. I've read reviews on them, some people think they are bouncy and suck, others think they're fine. Like anything, I guess it depends on how you drive. Buy them, hit every pot hole and try to blow them up so I know how make punishment they can take.

racelandus.com says it fits 02+, im guessing that means I need to replace top hats to throw em on the rs?
