LIME on the Legacy!!!

Its the forth time the Parking Garage at MMC has dripped lime onto our brand new Legacy. My wife doesn't notice it til its already dry, then its a bastid to remove.

I haven't found anything that removed it except for Red Hot engine degreaser they sell at Auto Distributor in Windham. Its what we use at work for subborn engine goo and wheel dust, but it leaves a dull finish like the clear coat is gone, but wax bring it right back to newish again.

Does anybody have a home remedy for Lime on car paint? I have more on the car and I can't get to work to get the special sauce.

keep that up and im sure the paint will peel right off. Subaru paint isn't the best.

why is the parking garage dropping lime on your car?
As water and salt deteriorates the concrete it runs thru the floors and drips on cars, lime. >

Mike I'll have red hot or red devil once I get to work. I was wonderin if theres another home remedy so I dont have to truck all over to clear it up.

on my black car it looks like someone mixed chalk with water and dripped it onto the car. Usually only one or two spots if it happens at all. If it dries the white chalky stuff basically adheres to the paint forever. Once dry it feels like cement, or dried lime. I think I'm going to try WD40 on it today.

I think it only happens in older parking garages. I've seen it happen to an Impreza I was looking at in B-town. Whole hood was F-ed.
