When I bought my STi, it came with locking lugs. The unfortunate thing is it never came with a key. Is there a way to get these off without killing my wheels???

Post a pic of what your lug nuts look like, there is a chance someone else has the same style and can let you use their key, or can tell you where to get another key.

I believe its the oem subaru locks but I dont have the packaging or anything to identify which lock is it

god forbid that happens lol

Your goin have get it removed no one else's key is goin to work, they make a tool that is used for removal of locks..

Other peoples keys can work. I have seen it many times. It just all depends on what brand they are, and until we find out for sure with a pic, than we won't know

I have a secret set of EZ Out type tools in my box, they have hardened steel teeth with a hex on one end, they fit over rounded/rusted nuts and (almost) always work to get things off. Might be just the ticket for your needs. made by Irwin

Subaru will have a master set. They'll need to match yours up and order it. Prob 40-50 bucks.

I had this same issue with the Lexus I bought a couple weeks ago. It came with locking lug nuts, but no key. I could either get a shop to take it off, since they have a special tool, or get it off myself. I took a 19mm 12point socket and hammered it on each locking lug. This broke my socket, but I was able to get all the stupid locking lugs off.
