They don't even have a company name, what a crock of horse crap. They can't even be bothered to make a proper translation.

That's got to be the biggest pile of you know what. Their 'website' hasen't even been updated since 2009...or should I say this scammer hasen't mirrored their website since 2009...

It's a classic example of a cybercriminal attempting to scam this domain name from you in the interest of distributing malicous content like ZBot or some dumb fake Antivirus dropper from this domain. I wonder if the headers in that e-mail even trace back to China? Those xxxx.com.cn domains are junk. Total junk!

I sent a reply email thanking them for watching out for me and that I may be interested in the Chinese domains.

Thanks for your prompt reply.We knew you have registered the domain name "mainelysubarus.com" and own the intellectual property,

this is why we informed you.But now the Investment company wanted to apply for other cn/asia domain names and

Internet trademark Keyword you have not registered yet,like "www.mainelysubarus.cn, www.mainelysubarus.com.cn, www.mainelysubarus.asia".  It's china and asia domain name. You must know Domain name takes open registration, this is international domain name registration principle. So the Investment company has right to register them. As a domain name registrar, we have no right to dispute their application.So required by China government to inform your company to protect your interest. But as the company whose trademarks relate to the applied domains, you will get the priority to register these domain names.

Of course, each company has their own idea. If you don't think their application will affect your company, you can give up,

we will finish their registration. The Investment company will become the legal owner of these domain names in the world.

You will be responsible for the loss caused by the matter yourself. But if you think these domain names are useful for your company,

we can send an application form and the price list to you and help you register these within dispute period. This is the only way

to prevent domain name grab. Pls let us know your decision soon, so that we can handle the next step.

Their english is pretty bad. How nice of them to 'inform' you that the Mainleysubarus domain name will be registered in the china/asia region. I bet they are just trying to get you to buy the names to steal your personal information. You must get e-mails like this all the time.

 
send them an email stating they owe you $37,000,000 plus royalties and the date for the court proceedings for international trade violations they have violated is July 4th, 2011. They'd better bring a lunch.

Hello Angela, 

I noticed a problem with the pricing sheet. The Internet trademark has already been paid up to 5 years so I will not require that. Can you tell me why it is showing I have to pay for that again? Everything else looks in order. After the trademark is settled I will pay for the Chinese and Asia domain names. Thanks again!
