i want to find out what wrx header he modified to fit. and notice the second newest comment? think it's anyone we used to know?

 
that's sweet, that is some serious rumble from the n/a 2.5i. wonder how me modified the header to fit.

that's what i want to know. somebody must have a stock wrx header collecting dust i can hack up and weld back together

if i had to guess i would say that he just used literally the header, but not the header and up pipe, then made a short pipe that goes from where the up pipe would connect to where his stock rear cat is. i think all you need other than the header is the oil pan and maybe the crossmember?

 
personally I thought it sounded borderline obnoxious. Sound quality was junk though so I guess it's really not even worth forming an opinion.

 
bolt on the wrx manifold, then bolt your cat to where the up pipe would go.

i think i originally figured out it would work if i had the cats off a 02-05 rs/ts. i just want rumble for cheap and i don't have the ambition to find parts

 
update: i think i may have it almost figured out. subydoored is hooking me up with the header, and i'm going to send that guy a message through youtube and see how he did his. if it isn't cast, i'll cut it and re weld the flange so it fits, if it is, i'm stumped

 
it is cast so you is out of luck and i told you he is on the other subaru website that is considered a bad word here and is blocked new-england-subarus.com take the dashs out and you will have it

i figured out from another forum it can be done with a cheapo aftermarket header. just too lazy and don't have the money to buy one just to hack up
