looking for a mechanics around Old town

I need some work done on my subie but am new to this area and dont know where I can get some good honest service for a decent price. there is this place ( http://www.mainelymetricauto.com/about_us ) down the road from me but I wanted to know if anyone had used them before.

Those guys always have VWs out front. They seem to do a lot of work at times but then sometimes I'll drive by and think they've gone out of business. I'm from Bradley and don't know the guy, nor have I heard anything about them. Sorry.

Someone on another thread recommended Jackson's (main st, old town) and a mechanic there named PeeWee. I've had work done with Autoworks in Eddington on Rt 9. They are ok but I hate driving out there to leave a car and having to get a ride.

yeah that's what i like about the his place i could walk home and not worry about finding a ride.

That 86 4runner out front is mint looking. I've been wanting to stop in and see it. They also had a 01 Legacy in there for sale recently.

Depending on what it is you need Crawfords is right up the road. I used to have them work on my Tacoma back in college. They always did right by me. My dad still gets his car lined up there. Hell I think they give him a ride back home when they work on his vehicle...

autowerk's mechanic is an awesome mechanic

theres also a subaru place down the street (towards old town, same side of road) from autowerks, he has like 100 impreza wagons chillin out front. never used him before but i've heard good things.
