Looking for hang out spots in auburn/lewiston

Hey guys i will be moving to turner on july 3rd and was wonderign if anyone ever gets together on a regualr basis or if there are any spots were people go? i grew up in the area but haven't been there for 10 years. Im a stay at home dad so i need to get out take a drive and blow off some steam and talk with people that aren't still in diapers lol

MS has a monthly meeting, where we go out for a few beers and what not. One month is in southern Maine...next Central Maine. In July there is a MS Seadogs Ballgame night.

yah most def check out the events section.

on top of that there seems to be a group going to a car show here and there and drive in nights.

also being from lewiston, there is a group of younger folks that gather in the promenade mall area on sat nights. but ive been there and im not too sure its a place you wanna go. that group is screaming to get in trouble. im sure ill see you around.

 
promenade mall area? that the auburn mall area like around best buy lowes etc?

Speaking of drive ins were is the closest one? me and my wife used to go once a month in south carolina

nope.... promenade mall arear is in lewiston.... if its been a while for you (its not there any more) but do you remember where bradles department store was? that's the mall.

closest drive-in (movie theater im assuming you're talking about) might be bridgeton for you... but there is one i think in portland area.

by drive in meets.... i meant its a big wed night meet where people drive in and show off the cars. the wed night one is in bridgeton also.

 
be carfule about the MS get togather drives i tried like 3 times and never found the meeting place ( it might be just me ) nice ride

Bridgton has one of the only drive -in movies left in the state of maine.We also have a cruise nite on wednesday evenings .Come check out our cool little town:cool:

it appears the most hoppin' crowds in maine hang around at the Paris Farmers Union in Auburn....

Oh wait there is that club up the street... went there one night...had a mechanical bull set up.....most of the cows riding it weighed more than the bull....

Only the best towns get a paris farmers union or a reny's:D [our town has both]If you get a chance ,bring up your STI and try out our cruise nite.Wednesday nite 6-8pm.

I can see I am going to have to take U for a grand tour round to Boston then Springfield MA for a weekend..... U will never go back to club Texas again.....
