Yeah,I pulled it all apart,to find that a Legacy 2.5 wont fit....Ill give it a good kero bath this weekend....Ill repost if it doesn't revive it,its more annoying than anything.still starts,just takes a few tries to get it kicked in...
Before dropping it in a bath of something. Take it apart. It's wicked easy. Subaru starter don't fail often. It's probably something really obvious that's wrong. Like worn contacts. Or if it has dead spots on the stator, or bad brushes, etc. you'll see it.
