yupp, we can pretty much close this thread, ill just buy forester struts for more lift!!

LOL, nice. Whatcha gonna do with the lift that's on there of you get Forester struts? I might be interested depending on price

sorry but forester struts will not give you more lift that only works in the 02+ impreza's i will trade you wheels if you want it would save me from painting another set

oh ok thanks gabe! i dont know what i was thinking haha since i decided not to lower it, i may not trade wheels, but what do you have?

Too bad you can't fit 14" rims with those brakes. I bet you could still get a decent tire on 15's

GAH you're right....i cant though, unless someone has any ideas because the smallest grabber AT2 is 1/2" bigger then what I have and I already rub when I turn.

GClark has Grabbers on his OBS. It's the newer style but I wouldn't think there is too much difference

his are a 215-65-16 and dont rub but mine are 215-60-16 so his are about an inch bigger

Mine did rub. But that goes in a couple weeks or so. We need to put my tires on your car before you decide anything. We should have test fitted them at the last meet. If you are going to the group drive, you can swing by my house in the morning (Im like 5min off the highway in Lewiston) and we can test fit em'.

wonder if the older 16" Forester "S" five spokes with the more outboard off set would help eliminate rubbing?

This thread reminds me of all the 4x4 forums I've ever been on.

"Installed a lift kit and bigger tires now it rubs, what do I do?" The answer is always go bigger.
