manual boost controller

So I'm going to be getting my FXT tuned soon and I was wondering about running a manual boost controller, but I wanted some opinions before purchasing one. Thanks, Chris.

how about I sell you my perrin 3 port electronic one. that way you can still use all the safety features of the factory electronic boost control system. I.e. intake temp, overboosting etc.

with colder intake temps you don't want to run a higher boost pressure, and the tune can accommodate for it. the manual one you would have to turn back on really cold days.
