Just got my JDM projectors, so of course I needed to take some new pictures! This is my winter set up with RS wheels painted gold by me.

The car is lightly modded (poor college student) -

Cobb catback

Exedy Stg. 1 clutch

Exedy 14 lb. flywheel

TurboXS boost controller

Tein H-Techs

Front and rear sway bars

JDM STi Projectors

JDM STi grill

JDM STi fog covers

JDM STi V1 lip (not pictured, summer use only)

JDM STi sidemarkers

04-05 style STi hood scoop

Rally Armor LE mudflaps

Powerslot rotors w/ axxis pads

I'm trying to decide if I want to ditch the 04-05 style scoop for a JDM 02-03 scoop. Hmm

Nice ride. I saw your car couple weeks ago in Dick Sporting Good parking lot in Topsham. Looked nice and clean compared to my Forester

How are those JDM projectors? I heard you blind the heck out of oncoming drivers because of the beam pattern

With the HID models, it's a whole lot worse. But the NON HID model really isn't that bad. I don't plan on having these projectors in long anyway. I plan on sending them to Lightwerkz asap to have the TSX retrofit projectors put in! :glasses9:

car looks darn good, esp the RS 6-spoke goldies on black rex.

IMHO the tacked on STI hood scoop mod is not up to level of rest of car. there are lots of high-rise scoops out there that fit the 02-03 hood opening just right while still adding the little xtra JDM yo edge to body style.

din't I see you were looking for the proper scoop someplace?

Well, the scoop looks better in the summer time with the front lip on... Now that I've almost completed my front end to make it look identical to a JDM bugeye, I may just have to ditch the 04-05 scoop for an 02-03 JDM scoop to finish it off.

I don't think this should be a question of "IF", this should be a question of "WHEN".

That will clean everything up,when you put the appropriate scoop in. Back in the day it's what was on my bugeye , it was a true jdm which is pricey though. But you could always get a replica version. I'll be getting one for the xt when i find a JDM one in aspen white.

Nice looking rex man!!! (great choice in rims too)

That's really a great looking WRX, I agree that the JDM scoop is more appropriate to your overall build look.
