YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
So today I was in Augusta. A little over an hour from home. Around 5.00 I go out to my car to go home. Put the key in the lock, turn the key ... and it breaks off. After yelling a loud F----------K I pulled the space key out of my wallet and drove home. Tomorrow I'll fish the rest of the key out, not a big deal. but why does so much stupid crap like this happen to me?!?! grrrrrrr

 
Sucks your key broke, but good call with the wallet key. I've locked myself out of my car so many times. After calling AAA twice I made spares, folks have one so they can move my car when I park them in, and then another for my wallet for when I lock my keys in my car, which is almost a monthly occurrence.

 
When I lock my keys in my car, my wallet is almost always in there too because I'm going on a hike or something. In which case I find a cloths hanger to break in with. I'm just glad it didn't break off in the ignition!!

 
I know how you feel but my thing was always the actual door handle. I had an 88 Chevy PK and never fail 900 below zero evertime the handle would break, I hated that truck.

 
It shouldn't be to much of a pain to extract. The little flap thing isn't closed, so I should be able to grab onto the key with a small pair of pliers and pull it out. Else what, take the door apart? bleck
