Lucky, my mom recently got T-boned by a kid that ran a stop sign and pushed her into a pole and fire hydrant, totaling her honda pilot. She got a dodge journey for rental, i've never even heard of 'em

i just noticed Chris' thread about his '09 rental. i'm not sure if they changed a heck of a lot from 09 to 11, but i do love this, at least in relative terms of the rental car world. i would obviously purchase a GT because it doesn't quite have the pep i would want, but it makes do. i do like the paddle shifters, it makes it manageable to pass/hoon. comfort is out of this world. probably the most comfortable car i've driven, which is saying very little, but still. it's obviously a heavy car, much heavier than i'm used to, but the awd and tight steering make up for it. when hitting an onramp quick it feels like i'm heaving myself into the turn, but the car just keeps on the line you want it to.

so far i'm happy. we'll see how it turns out after a week.

It's Dodge's cross over, it's not too bad in the R/T pkg.

so insanely comfortable.

nate i would tell her to test drive one.

i was on subarus website last night pricing out a 2011 gt

Depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for turbo-less torque, and not having to fill up on super unleaded. The 3.6R is an awesome choice.

So after 300 miles I've decided it's a bit slow in it's base model form for me. The 6 speed paddle shift automatic makes it manageable I just don't like to have to rely on it when I want to pass or just accelerate through something. I'll need to drive a gt or h6 to really see how I like the performance of the legacy. It remains very comfortable after 4 hours of driving. As a base model it's obviously missing a couple things, namely Bluetooth. I'd like to see Subaru adopt the tech goodies as standard options like several other makers have.

If i were to purchase a gt the first thing I would do is suspension. It sits much higher than I like and the size of the car makes for a bit too much body roll. It's still very controllable and predictable but not quite as fun as it could be.
