Ok guys I need ideas for my 1st anniversary coming up in Oct. I already have some flowers on order so that is checked off. I don't know what else to get. I am figuring on going out to eat at really nice place. I don't want to brake the bank on a present so nothing to crazy.

I don't know, but I am going to listen for the answer.

mine is coming up in a few months.

My wife and I are going to Hollywood slots and staying a night. Full breakfast and dinner buffet etc. Cost about 209. It's quite a bit, but I didn't do anything for her last year

Trust me, she really wants some new Volks.
Yea that's when the divorce papers would come in.

Ive been married for 22 years [so far] My first thought would be dinner and flower's,The 2nd would be to...Not to set the bar to high...If you go all extravagent on her this year, how you gonna keep toping it year after year??.

..K.I.S.S....Start with something thoughtful and small, and through the years work up to travel or diamonds.....happy anniversary-good luck

Gee Chris I can`t remember what we did on our 1st it was over 45 years ago but you can`t go wrong with flowers and a dinner

what kind of girl is she she like presents or is she the thought that counts kind of girl? you dont have to spend a lot of money just be sapy she will love it.

maybe mak e a picnic lunch with some champagne and brink her to a lake or soemthing and get her flowers too wotn cost you much and will score more points than a regular restaurant.

oh and make sure oyu go during sunset and pack a citranela candel

For your first, you want to do something that will remind her of your wedding day. I took my wife back to the town where we were married, stayed in the same hotel and ate at the same restaurants. It was pretty awesome and worth the $$.

Traditionally, it should be something "paper", something personalized and framed perhaps (and NO not divorce papers).

If you're more modern, a "clock" is the ideal gift for the first year of marriage, and no, not a $4.98 clock from WalMart!

I'm sure whatever you do, it'll be great!
