so im finally getting my car back really soon

but i found out that im going to have a hard time finding an inspection sticker for my car, because i have an aftermarket 3 inch exhaust with no cat... any one know a place i can go that will pass me? thans for the help.

 
If you hadn't just told the whole internet that you don't have a cat, I probably would have...

 
I have been inspected without having a cat before. they said nothing about it. If you endup needing one let me know I have a highflow cat I can loan you. Not sure if it will fit your system though. I have a full on turbo Xs system.

 
so since you dont have a cat ill assume the mil light is on.....down here in cumberland county that's a no no.....i always enjoy explaining why people cant have mny sticker when i tell them there leaking gas fumes....sorry

Since this topic is about inspections, I figured I would ask my inspection question here.

Will my Subaru not pass inspection if the ABS light is on?

The reason it is on is my ABS sensor went a while ago, I took it to my mechanic and he quoted me something like $300 for the part and told me it wasn't really worth it.

So we just decided to take out the fuse for the ABS, and my Subie has never braked better!

 
abs light cant be on...fail i dont care for abs myself but if it was on the car is has to work....300 for just a sensor???

 
I don't remember exactly what part it was, thought it was, but it was quoted at 300.

The problem I was having was, when applying just a bit of pressure to slow down, the pedal would sorta thump a little. But if you slammed on the brake pedal, it would violently thump and it did not have much braking power.

Removing the fuse made it brake better than it ever has.

 
sounds as if your abs is kicing in when its not suppose to....could be several issues...possibly a bad wheel bearing, right around that price with install...if you pull the fuse for the abs the abs wont work....
