All I really need is the tube itself,as long as it has the sensor mount. doesn't really matter what brand. I was going to buy the SPT part,but I have a different idea. Also dont need a filter,have a bunch laying around.Scratches are fine,as long as they lower the price haha. Let me know what you have sitting in your parts pile....thanks

 
How about just the part for the MAF sensor???? anybody??? I can go to white and bradstreet,and buy a chunk of the tubing,then weld the sensor mount in.... or I could just make that too I guess...

 
OK,what Im trying to do is build one,based on the SPT part. I just cant see the $150 plus for one. I have an HKS megaflow filter,and (I shouldnt let the secret out) White and Bradstreet has a tractor trailer body full of aluminum intercooler piping for sale. Very cheap for a few pieces 3 or 4 feet long..Is your short ram aluminum,or plastic?

I just dont dare to take my stock pipe apart,and have the car not drivable for a period of time..I know I can match the SPT part pretty closely with all the pieces thay have to pick from

 
remember, if the inner dia of the pipe is not exactly the same as a stock maf housing the car will run rich or lean and you are at risk of bad things happening

 
Yeah,Im hoping to find the correct diameter piping. The place is a junkyard for tractor trailers..etc..so there is a LOT of intercooler piping,big exhaust.etc. I wouldnt try it without matching everything up. Im probably better off to just get the SPT part...

 
I could tell you,but..... No, its just off rt 3 in Augusta. White and Bradstreet. Theres a younger guy there that knows what we are up to,so he doesn't want retail used price,esp if it comes out of the trailer....they have the good clamps for cheap $$$ too. Dont hog it all though,theres only one trailer box full....
