I have a few struts that are on their way out and I need some soon but I'm on a budget soo....

anyone know of any online sites that are reasonable for both front and rear struts?

thanks in advance...

Online, just go to google shopping and put in the struts, or check with vendors on nasioc, or check with NEAD.

you can get D-specs from EG I believe...they will just order them from turnin

will there be a markup tho?

and seeing that I moved back to mass it may just be easier to get them online

well.. i just found tien coilovers for 650 (negotiable too) with only 10k on them... never wanted coilovers but for that small of a price difference it may be a great alternative... we'll see.. i always go back and forth like this

ya know guys, I just gots to comment on this...(pleez note, not pickin on Ryan in particular)

gawd forbid somebody might actually make a leetle $ in the car biz by providing actual customer service...like calling up a good shop and them telling you what the diff struts provide for your money. what are the tradeoffs, etc. then you buy the stuff from them so you KNOW what you are getting and they might actually stay in business and help you again next time you need stuff.

if I had one dollar for every time somebody bought the cheapest thing they could find online, only to discover that it 'really wasn't what I wanted' well by jeez I could retire at this very moment, buy an ex-Ken Block rally monster and a huge motorhome/car hauler then go play in the woods at every rally on every weekend until I die.

So, you should buy them used Tein coilovers (a sketchy proposition if I ever heard one, why do you think the guy is selling?), especially if you want to make your nice Suby ride like a skateboard.

support your local Suby shop who gives a rip about you and wants to keep you as a happy customer.

peace.

^ I hear ya Nigel and I know what you mean. I never experienced evergreen but I have herd nothing but great things about them. I now live in MA so at this point, knowing and trusting no one around here, I am looking for the best deal anywhere.

DSpecs are great struts. You'll be a lot happier with them them and your RCE's than a crappy coilover setup. A really nice coilover setup costs more and performs better, but DSpecs with what you've got will impress.

They're what i've got. I love them, just be careful with how you torque down the strut top nuts ;-) they're kind of tricky.

how are the tokico's? never heard of them and I need to replace the blown KYB's on the RS. they may be an option. obviously I need something that will take a pounding "occasionally"

Most tokicos are crap, just pure crap. But the DSpecs are actually awesome.

Konis are always good
