YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
My mom just traded her '06 outback for a '08 outback.

It is silver, PZEV, 18k miles, and a manual transmission. I've driven it around a bit. Nice ride. Maybe later today I can get some pics of it.

So what is with the exhaust header? It loops around the front of the engine.

Is that just a PZEV thing?

Turbo thing usually, but I guess yours isn't one. So I dunno. Probably a clearance thing, always said they should all be set up like the turbos so you don't have the exhaust hanging down in the front

As you were told in another thread ALL N/A cars past 2006 have EL headers. The PZEV isn't an exception.

The header looks very reminiscent of the new LGT headers that go in front for the turbo. Except obviously no turbo, and single port headers.

I guess that proves all mechinical tuning is dome forver. N/A does not like EL headers by nature. No V engine or Boxer ever will...

How did they add vtec to a framing hammer anyway...
